Good Friday, 30th March, starts with tasty, spiced, fruity Hot Cross Buns available all weekend from Pallant Café, enjoy yours toasted with butter and take advantage of the sunshine with a seat in our beautiful, walled courtyard amongst art sculptures by Tracey Emin. We are ending the evening with the launch of our Steak Nights @ Pallant, the introduction of our weekend Steak menu with cuts including Fillet, Rump and Jacobs Ladder accompanied by a range of sides and sauces for diners to choose to complete their meal. Saturday and Easter Sunday we will be open as usual, let us do the cooking (and washing up) for the family, we will be serving our traditional roast and set menu on Sunday 1st April. Make the most of the 4 day weekend and pair your meal with one of Charlie’s freshly made Bloody Mary’s, they are sure to put a spring in your step and set you up for the bank holiday.
Easter Monday, 2nd April, both Pallant House Gallery and the restaurant will be open – making it the perfect day to visit the new art exhibitions including POP! Art in a Changing Britain – explore how artists in Britain in the 1950s and 1960s responded to rapid social change, featuring artists such as Peter Blake, Richard Hamilton and Jann Haworth. Make sure to visit the De Longhi Print Room located on the ground floor of the Gallery and view the original designs by mid-century textile designer, Sheila Bownas (1925-2007)
